We invite you to serve on one of our working committees and/or in a leadership role. Our Executive Board includes President, President-Elect, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Chair, and Immediate Past President. You may review our bylaws for more specific role descriptions.
Membership
Welcome new ACACI members and coordinate networking opportunities. Reach out to agencies, universities, etc. to speak about ACACI or table at events.
Professional Development
Create and share community professional development opportunities. This includes organizing our bi-annual conference, workshops, and webinars for clinicians working with youth. You can view past webinars at the ICA Store.
Newsletter
Gather newsletter articles and resources and edit our newsletter for circulation.
Social Media
Plan and organize ACACI social media presence including providing regular content on counseling youth.
Graduate Students
Create information on the structure of counseling professional societies for students and create mentorship opportunities.
Award Nominations
Each year at the Illinois Counseling Association (ICA) fall conference, we recognize our colleagues and organizations who go above and beyond to support children and adolescents. Nominate them for one of our multiple award categories. View past winners HERE.
